What is Pam Long Photography's 40 Over 40 Project?

It’s our opportunity to highlight YOU! It's time to share your inspiring story!

It's about starting a conversation around the beauty of aging and changing the way we define it.

Pam will be photographing and interviewing 40 women over the age of 40 from January - September 2024. The photoshoot experience will include a wardrobe and style consultation, a $50 gift card to Bra La La, a makeover by our professional makeup artist, a guided portrait session (you can choose headshots, branding, boudoir, family or a combination), a ticket to our exclusive 40 Over 40 Gala, an 8x10 matted print along with its corresponding digital file, a donation to our chosen charity, AND you'll be featured in The 40 Over 40 Magazine.

Not only will this project help empower 40 women, it will also help support a fantastic cause; The Howard Hospital Foundation. We're donating $75 from each session, totaling $3000 at the project's conclusion!

Wardrobe and Style Consultation: We'll meet before your portrait session to assist you in choosing the ideal wardrobe tailored to your selected genres. We'll handle all the planning, preparation, and design details for your photoshoot. By the end of our session, you'll be well-prepared and eagerly looking forward to the big day! Additionally, you'll have access to our couture-style closet.
Professional Makeup Application: Mary Beth Dulin, is my trusted collaborator and a true beauty maestro. Our shared goal is clear: to celebrate and accentuate the inherent beauty within each person. Mary Beth consistently exceeds expectations, leaving my clients feeling like the best version of themselves. Rest assured, you'll leave the makeup chair with a radiant smile and newfound confidence!
Custom Photoshoot: How do you envision your ideal portrait session? We tailor each session to your unique desires, ensuring a fun and painless experience. Whether you opt for headshots, branding, boudoir, family portraits, or a blend, we will lead you through the entire journey, from crafting your wardrobe to perfecting poses.
Gift Card to Bra La La: Each of our 40 Over 40 women will be treated to a $50 gift card to Bra La La (sign up by Dec 4, and it doubles to $100!!). Bra La La is a sanctuary for women in pursuit of the perfect fit in bras and lingerie. What distinguishes Bra La La is not only its wide-ranging selection but also the outstanding customer service that has garnered a stellar reputation. 8x10 Matted Print and High Resolution Corresponding Digital Image: Your $590 session fee includes an 8x10 print and the corresponding high-resolution digital image. Sign up by Dec 4, and enjoy an extra $250 for an additional print or to apply to your order. We provide professional retouching for every purchased image. Additional images can be acquired separately, at $250 each, with reduced rates per image for larger purchases. Collections start at $1690.
Ticket to our Exclusive 40 Over 40 Gala: You're invited to our Gala on October 7, 2024, at Cured | 18th & 21st. Join us for an evening of celebration, honoring everyone who contributed to this meaningful and inspiring project. Witness the presentation of our donation to the Howard Hospital Foundation. Additional tickets can be purchased separately.
Feature in The 40 Over 40 Magazine: The portraits and interviews of our 40 Women will be showcased in our 40 Over 40 magazine, with a special unveiling at our Gala night for an exclusive presentation!
$75 Donation to The Howard Hospital Foundation: $75 from your booking fee will be donated to The Howard Hospital Foundation, resulting in a total contribution of $3000 upon the completion of the Project. Stay tuned for additional fundraising opportunities throughout the year to support this worthy cause.
